Duncan, thanks for the tip. The article is quite a switch from the bashing of internet trading that has been in vogue the past year. I checked my old connection to the NY Times at: nytsyn.com It doesn't seem to be there anymore. I notice from reading the signup agreement that the Times may start charging sometime for access to their website - or at least parts of it. I wonder when that might happen? It seems many news organizations are eager to give away connections for free these days. I wonder if they'll ever try to make money from the web someday? The San Jose Mercury seems to be the only one that is truly serious about charging for connection. Jeff
