Just In Time Solutions is an interesting company. They tried to recruit me last summer - at the time they were a five person company. They may still be. Anyway, I believe them to be E-Bill collaborators and not competitors.

I met Mike Lanza 2 years prior when he visited CheckFree. I think JITS had probably beaten CKFR to to the E-Bill idea, but could not execute without the payment half of the equation, and without the entrenched consumer base. He had later learned of CKFR's efforts to pilot a similar product, and had gone to CKFR, MSFDC(?) and INTU in an effort to partner with either (or all) to help develop the product. CKFR and JITS does have some sort of deal, but I can't recall the structure of it.

It sounds like JITS now has a "push" version of E-Bill, and wants to licence it to the E-Bill players. Mike, are you lurking? What are you guys up to?
