With the censorship of information on the Iraqi equipment trailers that we all suffer from, we all are reduced to mere speculation about what these trailers were used for.

This wild goose chasing may be part of the "fog of war", and it could also be a deliberate effort on the part of the Bushies to engage in obfuscation and misdirection. It wouldn't be the first time.

Can we agree that it would be much better if we had neutral third party inspectors on the ground in Iraq looking into these things? Relying on the U.S. DoD filtering their "spin" through a spineless media to tell us the truth about what they are finding seems to be the height of naivete. They couldn't even tell us the truth about saving Private Lynch, after all. Nor of the statue toppling moment, exposed to all the world as a mere staged Hollywood trick.
