It can afford 1% of the GDP for something this important, esp. since its starting to appear that it won't have to pay at that level for all that much longer.

Stop stealing all our money for your excellent adventures. You people are literally out of control. In case you haven't noticed the US is broke. Treasuries are as low as they've ever been in modern history.

The war in Iraq is over. Our troops are coming home. Deal with it!
