Don't be taken in by this latest Bush Lie about al Qaeda and Iran. There was (and still is) tremendous tension between the Taliban and its al Qaeda guests in Afghanistan and the Iranian government before the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan. To the extent that Iranian diplomats were kidnapped and killed by Taliban supporters. Remember, the Iranians are largely Shia and the Talib and al Qaeda are a mutant fascist fringe of the Wahabbis. They don't mix. Except in Bush's devious propaganda.
