I found this on it. Pretty sketchy at the moment.

Hope to hell it's not the case.
As in the US, Canada is a very open society. Our mutual friendship and open borders is a natural "set up" for security failure. No doubt, both our gov'ts "must" address this vulnerability and construct a program of protection.
The "Status Quo" is unacceptable.
I, for one, will be contacting my Federal Member of Parliament and demanding action.
I believe the US should also be putting the heat on Canada. It is a very difficult problem and requires difficult and decisive action from both our governments.
There is a quotation by an ancient Greek or Roman philosopher ( Plato?) that I read years ago that said "to the effect" that democracy and the individual rights and freedoms that it imparts will in fact ultimately lead to the doom of democracy itself.
This presents a "catch 22" to the free world. Where do you draw the line between individual rights and freedoms in the interests of protecting the institution of democracy itself ? Some pretty heady questions.
In any event, my sincere condolences to the American nation. These are sad times for the globe.
Regards
C
