Seems this thread hasn't been active for awhile..

But I read/heard an interesting conspiracy theory last night about QZ8501 Air Asia flight..

Seems that Alstom just pled guilty for bribery and are paying nearly $1 Billion in fines to the US and a number of their directors are being charged..

One of the passengers, the only Briton, is a Unit director of their Indonesian Energy subsidiary.. And Indonesia was cited as one of the countries to which bribes were paid by Alstom. It could be that he knew where the skeletons were buried and someone needed to hush him up.. It's well known that Indonesia is very corrupt. However, the new President is VERY MUCH a crusader on corruption and they have the Anti-Corruption unit (KPK) that has taken down some VERY high level officials, including a Supreme Court Justice..

The Briton on board flight AirAsia flight QZ8501 is believed to be Mr Choi Chi Man, who is based in Indonesia, where he is the managing director at an energy company...... .......He was Unit Managing Director for Thermal Services at energy firm Alstom Power, a position he held since July this year. Prior to that, he was based in Singapore, where he was a senior executive at Alstom Grid, according to his LinkedIn profile.
A French power and transportation company with ties in the United States has agreed to pay US$772 million ($998 million) to resolve allegations that it bribed high-ranking foreign government officials for lucrative projects, says the US Justice Department.

Federal prosecutors said Alstom falsified its records and paid tens of millions of dollars in bribes for help in obtaining projects worth more than US$4 billion in countries including Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

"Alstom's corruption scheme was sustained over more than a decade and across several continents," said Deputy Attorney James Cole.

"It was astonishing in its breadth, its brazenness, and its worldwide consequences."

The Justice Department said the scheme ran from roughly 2000 to 2011 and relied on middlemen to facilitate the bribes and secure projects.......................... .......................... Alstom Power and another US subsidiary, Alstom Grid, entered into deferred-prosecution agreements that will be in effect for three years. Alstom's Swiss subsidiary has pleaded guilty to conspiring to violate the anti-bribery provisions of the FCPA. As well, the Justice Department said five people, including four former executives of Alstom and its subsidiaries, had been charged in connection with bribery.

Could they have taken down an entire airliner in order to make this guy's death look like and "accident", shutting him up forever? He was part of this, since he was with Alstom Grid prior..

It's not beyond the realm of possibility and it IS very suspicious that there was no distress call from the stricken airliner. We will have to await the recovery of the data recorders though.. And given the shallow depth, they should be able to find them..

Watch the video and decide for yourself.
