OEM market share and PC sales in Germany in Q1 I've found the following numbers from Dataquest in the latest issue of the PC Professionell I just got: Market share OEM Q1 '01 Fujitsu Siemens 21.0% Compaq Computer 8.8% Hewlett Packard 6.4% Dell Computer 5.1% Maxdata 4.5% Sold PCs and notebooks OEM Q1 '01 Q1 '00 Fujitsu Siemens 367,500 461,441 Compaq Computer 154,840 155,853 Hewlett-Packard 111,394 55,785 Dell Computer 89,200 71,436 Maxdata 79,089 79,029 Others 951,929 890,307 Total 1,1753,952 1,173,851 Interestig to see that more than half ot the market is dominated by second-tier OEMs and "screwdriver shops". And Dell's marketshare is almost negligible in Germany. Does anyone know how this compares to the US? Andreas
