It could well be that the stores reach a type of customer who would never buy a first computer by mail order. It would be interesting to know. I bought my first from a guy putting them together in his basement. It was an easy transition to mail order. I can confirm that the traffic looks good her in Chicago. Also got a recommendation from the store that I would be better off getting a new box rather than trying to upgrade and proved it in dollars and cents. I knew that but wanted to test them.
