This post-war stock market bubble is going to burst.
The market is still acting like we "won" the war, but that is simply not true. The post-war war is turning out to be worse than the war-war.

A survey of Californian businesses I read recently said 75% plan to lay off workers this summer. Maybe some companies will get lean and mean but most are sucking wind and unemployment will continue for the foreseeable future.

Also, if the market fell before the war, then rose after the invasion, it's bound to fall now that it's clear we're stuck in a quagmire in Iraq which is going to be costrly and demoralizing. And Bush's splintering of international relationships has the global economy sputtering in semi paralysis. War, oil and debt do not a healthy economy make. That is the "Bush Factor", so says George Soros.
