Earnings look like this going forward, assuming no surprises:

99Q1 ($0.23)
99Q2 $0.11
99Q3 $0.22
99Q4 $0.10
CY99 $0.20

00Q1 (--)
00Q2 $0.20
00Q3 $0.33
00Q4 $0.15
CY00 $0.68

Same store sales should rise 10-15% in 2000 vs 1999. DWP recycling contract should continue thru 2000, and Edison should be renewed by late Q1/early Q2. Thus, a fair value is 10+ times earnings, or $4+ by April 2000, and $7 by late 2000.

I hope ARCI uses their higher stock price to acquire some local, profitable competing retail operations to achieve regional density, and then convert to Appliancesmart stores with the superior Whirlpool inventory.

With that kind of move, ARCI could banish forever the volatility of earnings that renewable recycling contracts bring, and could push annual EPS to $1.00 in 2001, maybe.

In that scenario, I would think ARCI could trade in the teens....
