Hi Mr. Lo, I was just recently read an article about how smartcards are a tough sell in the US. There was a trial project on smartcards used by Citibank, using Visa technology, and Chase Manhattan Bank, using Mondex. They achieved compatibility with each other using a single reader. But ran into problems concerning durability of the reader itself. Does BIT's smartcard reader compatible with either system or both? How durable is BIT's smartcard reader? As well, you mentioned prior that Microsoft wasn't a competitor but I was reading that it is developing multifunctional smartcards. Tom...
