100cfm, Re: Q / WCDMA, and “... I don't consider Q in the lead with WCDMA yet. Not until the 6250 handsets come out and they start grabbing big orders and market share.”

OK, understand your POV- probably from Missouri , but not basing your understanding of QCOM from IBD’s QCOM/ wireless articles (ggg) .

I believe that Modoff and others cite the Q’s “lead in WCDMA” from several perspectives-

.....Working with all the Euro WCDMA carriers with IOT, the only company to do such.
.....Working with DoCoMo on WCDMA / HSDPA
....21 mfgs to use the Q WCDMA chipsets (14 officially announced).
....The Q’s MSM roadmap reflects 7 chipsets in various stages of production/ development whereas the competition appears to have much less and appears reluctant to disclose much detail.

Agreed, MSM6250 equipped handsets (“the differentiator”) should tell the tale and hopeful that reports of such soon hitting/ leaving the shelves will soon be seen.
