Cary - I agree with your sentiments on the federal deficit. If they were really serious about a balanced budget, they would have been highly enthusiastic about a balanced budget amendment of some sort. So now they pass a bill to balance the budget 2-4 years after they leave office which of course will be nullified when the next crop of politicians are elected. Regards Jeff
