I can't answer questions on Joe. Regarding book value you may be seeing several things at play. First the large short position reported by macker. Second the unknowns on the deal (it has not even been formally announced and we do not know the details yet). Third the idea that not all companies trade at 1X book. If, however, ME is for real and is a real player, IMHO 1X book may not be far off. Any other opinions on this issue? (BTW, I would also be happy w/ 0.5X book - happier yet w/ 2X - LOL) Eric
