2. Environmental Monitoring
As we know from SEC filings, Paracelsian is working with Kubota to market the Ah-Immunoassay dioxin test kits. As Robin related, there are 2,000 municipal incinerators in Japan, and 20,000 other sites of concern (smaller incinerators, ash disposal sites, etc.). And there is growing concern in Japan - with limited land mass - about dioxin contamination. So the market is huge.
In the US, the EPA is looking for cheaper ways of dioxin detection. Paracelsian intends to be a player; the Assay will be proposed as a viable test. (As I understand the matter, marketing in the US would be wholly independent of of the Kubota partnership - i.e., additional market, additional revenue.)
