HMT's results presage Jaz fortunes.

If it is true that IOMG represented as much as 20% of HMTT's business in the quarter ending June 30th, then this shows awesome Jaz volumes building. The reason I bought HMTT when I heard that (a) they supplied platters for Jaz cartridges and (b) they were building additional factories is that I concluded that (c) the additional factories would be near-dedicated to Jaz production.

If you want to be fully invested in the Jaz "food chain" then after buying HMTT the next company is Cerion Technology (CEON). They supply the precision aluminum substrates (the disk blanks) on which HMTT applies the magnetic coatings. Been watching this one for a while and finally jumped in. IPOed a couple of months ago at 13, went to 19, and most recently got hammered down to the give-away level of 5.

BTW, Read-Rite (RDRT) makes the heads for Jaz. Also, HMTT seems to have tipped IOMG's hand if they claim that their production was for Jaz 1Gb and *2Gb* products.
