OH! Those elusive minerals that people with fight over...as with the current slaughter going on in the Congo. It's labeled 'tribal conflict', but if the country didn't have the world's greatest supply of coltan and casserite does anyone believe the surrounding countries would be sending in their fighters? 5.4 million people have dies so we can have cell phones and tin cans. As for the financial markets......the bounce we got on Friday was nice, but IMO the coming Q report from (AIG) on Monday will take us south. No longer can they hide their accounting debacle...and we as a whole will have to suffer for their mistakes.
