Thanks to Pearly B for stepping up to the plate. I'm afraid that at this point any suggestions on my part are likely to just result in make work futility. I'm stumped.

I'll ask around and see if anyone that I know might have a clue.

I admire your tenacity...most people would have never attempted clearing the CMOS and flashing the BIOS...out of fear...sometimes fear is a good thing.<g>
