Re: emails outside of SI -- several ways to look at this:
1. Ever consider that some people are tired of the same old BS stuff. They believe. They buy a little more as $$ permit. They stick in their 2 cents worth.
2. Or, how about people trying to make a living? Most of us have day jobs and family, shelter, food, etc. are higher priorities, especially when there's always a basher nearby to manipulate/snipe. After some of the abuse I've seen people take here, and the unrealistic dependence on some individuals, I can see why responding is not Priority #1 (or #100).
3. What uprising? All I see is frustrated, impatient people who set expectations above a realistic level. There was information and indications all the way along (before the earnings press release) that no units had been placed, that testing was not done, etc etc. Some people want this thing to move forward, but its just not moving fast enough. My realistic expectation: 3Q (post July) before GRNO is running on all cylinders and earnings, stock price, listing and other desired results kick in. The IE patrol tried to put a realistic face on all this. My expectations are more conservative than others shared on this thread, but some people just don't listen and temper their own. Makes it easier for Bacardi, Diver and others to slip in and manipulate expectations, etc.
4. I don't know whether such communications are going on. I'm not in any email group. However, I have open invitations to ask questions and share information with others privately if I wish. Also, with the bashing and lack of civility on this thread and others, can you blame some for wanting a less time wasteful communication/support mechanism (assuming such a mechanism even exists)?
Bottom Line: There is no one possible answer to the issues you raise. I doubt its simple however you or I look at it.
