i don't see the level of fear in the media, the papers, the morning talk shows that i saw around the december bottom, there were front page articles about the nas decline in some of the local papers here, and somebody that lives in the bay area posted that there was a big DOOM & GLOOM headline in one of the main rags up there.

and i have been pounding the table in the last week or so that the spx, which is now around the october 99 lows, at that time there was quite a bit of panic in the rydexers, ursa short fund had more assets than nova long fund, after a miniture drop compared to the drop from sept.

also on every pop up the rydexers have been loading up with leveraged long funds, buying on the proverbial slope of hope.

i think the nas is being drawn to 2000 like a magnet, it seems to like round #'s.
