bcrafty I'm also using MAs as a channel and watching for price bounces off of these. A breakdown (a cross over of these MAs) is another immediate confirmation. This is more significant if seen on a 5 min. chart. Notice how the NAS stalled and dipped slightly starting around 10:45. The close of the next 5 min. was lower but risky because it was still considerably above its lower MA. At 11:05ish, we printed another lower low but that low hit the upper MA line and bounced. Watch for a greater break - a 5 min. bar (or 2 in an up day) that print below the slower MA (MA of lows). I swear, one of these days I'll be able to figure out how to capture my charts and post them. Ihave an extensive graphics background and still I can't understand the computer verbiage necessary to complete this simple task. Frustrating.
