Allan,

What floppy<GGGG>?

Seriously, I haven't used a 3.5 floppy in a long time.

To answer your question, however, there is only one swapable internal bay (in which you can put a CD-ROM, ZIP, 2nd battery, 2nd hard drive, or floppy. The floppy can also be connected externally. The only time I will take out the ZIP is if I need to use the CD-ROM which will primarily happen when I need to install software. For multi-media applications, I have a nice desktop setup with a faster CD-ROM, big monitor, and great sound.

Two bays would be convenient. That's a nice feature of the Micron notebooks. Unfortunately, they currently don't have an internal ZIP.
