James, I own MRVC, and the proxy statement I recently got mentions a vote to increase outstanding shares from 20 million to 40 million. The annual shareholder meeting is sometime this month. No date for split is mentioned in the proxy. Hope this helps (BTW, MRVC is a great little company for aggressive but patient long-term investors: 30% owned by Chairman, President, and CEO, nimble enough to beat 3Com in bringing out 100Mb FastEthernet switches first, and building their own niche by combining their laser LED's and networking switches for the future fiberoptic backbone network.
