Oops! On May 5, when Case was discussing the third quarter, he had said:

"At the same time, we have achieved profitability a bit ahead of schedule.''

How long can AOL keep playing accounting games? The only reason they showed a profit, it now turns out, is they had improperly recognized some revenue. I wonder if any of the people who bought shares between May 5 and today will want to sue AOL, once the price tanks...
