Ain't gonna take it:

Last week I placed a market buy order for 1000 shares of NTAIF. The ask at the time was 24 5/8. I waited 2 minutes for a fill. Nothing. I saw the ask starting to move and I canceled the order. Later I placed another market buy order for the same stock. That time I waited 4 minutes for a fill. Nothing. The ask started upticking and I canceled. I tried a third time. I waited another 4 minutes and no fill. I canceled in disgust. Stock closed above 26. Gapped to 28 the next morning and closed at 32. Plenty of cash and margin my account. Schwab gives me a bunch of b.s., i.e. "it takes a long time to fill market orders on stocks of foreign companies"....They will say literally anything to justify their incompetence. The matter is before their "Chairman's Panel" or whatever now.
I prepared a civil complaint for breach of contract and negligence which I will file next week. I want ALL my lost profits.
P.S. Also contemplating a class action lawsuit if enough people have had similar experiences. You can reach me at: altosax@thegrid.net
