Dale, thanks for the info. $33/meg and 1 gig for $199 sure sounds like a winning combination. I have a cd-r, it is slow and very unreliable even though I have an adaptec scsi card. Other systems have a hard time reading the few cd's I was able to burn.

I don't know about DVD, but for the next year or so, I think Syquest should have a great opportunity.
