If it was back in the day you could unscrew the speedo cable from speedometer and use an electric forward/reverse drill and unwind the mileage. I've seen guys put the rear end of vehicle on jack stands and start up left in idle and put them in reverse gear to back the miles off speedometer. I wonder if there are tricks to do the same with Electronic speedometer?

Would it make more sense to tax the power consumption you use to charge your unit?

Knowing governments they will charge you mileage and consumption of electricity...and anything else they can ding us! weight of car, size of car, on and on!
