It has been pointed out that when Palm claims "many weeks" they're talking about intermittent usage. When PocketPC claims "12 hours" they're talking continuous usage. Neither measure is wrong, they're just different from each other. The only apples-to-apples comparison I've seen showed the iPAQ in the same ballpark as the IIIc WRT battery life when they were measured in the same fashion.

And the iPAQ screen puts the IIIc screen to shame...
