Bottom fishing is a very apropos comment. It's going to take a very thick line to bring it up from the muck. I haven't talked to anyone at the co. for a while so I don't know what's up with the merger or anything as a matter of fact. It's all pretty moot given where the price of gold is these days. With Greenspan doing everything he can to start a recession, I don't know if a rally in gold is sustainable. Inflation, which is public enemy no.1, is clearly rearing it's ugly head, and has been for several years, despite official claims to the contrary. It's effects have been disguised in large part by the reduction in quality of the goods we purchase (the euphemism being "productivity gains"). Let me know if you hear anything good, bad or ugly.
