Actually, I believe that Greenspan will win eventually. Looking at the housing prices, I feel that people are using the wealth generated in the stock market to consume more than they should. So, I agree with Greenspan that at least that wealth transference needs to be curbed. Maybe is hoping that the stock market can go up/stay at this level, but people stop spending the profits outside the market...
