Thank you, interesting, Bob. Have been told similar about trapped and prepped for slaughter in the past and forgot about it! Also the nighttime hunts make for interesting videos whereas the helicopter (at any time of day) hunts are mostly stunts for well-heeled adventure seekers. :-)

In terms of eradication everyone I know and have read says no single approach works perfectly because of the hogs intelligence and their fast breeding cycles. So there are pens, hunting, and poisoning in some areas with the latter obviously being the least used. But there must be a plan for their eradication. They serve no ecological purpose, are invasive property damaging animals that ultimately pose a threat to people if let run wild like this!
