I searched the Q4 1999 earnings report over at JC (I really love his transcript archives). Jerry said there in order to achieve 30% market share they had to sell half of their production to the corporate market. However, he did give no date. Hm, I wonder if AMD still needs to sell 50% to the corporate market to reach the goal? There's certainly a limit how much market share they can gain in the consumer market (no, not 100% ;)).
