A very impressive announcement for a small Canadian high tech firm to be able to make. A signed beta deal with "The largest producer of electricity in the US", is quite an accomplishment! Try to walk in off the street and do a beta testing with a large US company. You had better have some hot, compelling technology, and you better be able to deliver. I remember meeting with eDispatch.com management back two years ago when it was still called InStep Mobile. They had this new dispatch concept, and my broker and I were very interested. We believed that these guys had the credibility, experience, and integrity to follow through, and we were eager to put our money behind the company. It gives me great satisfaction to see that things have developed in a direction that is exactly as it was explained to us.
This is just the beginning of of something that is positioned to grow in the very high growth markets of 1) dispatch and fleet management software, 2) wireless technology, and 3) business to business internet applications. The driving economic and intellectual forces behind these industries are huge, and a company that can position itself in the leading edge in front of these driving business forces, will exceed expectations. eDispatch has a great opportunity to do just that. ontopequity.com
