ZBRA may have deemed the 2% Rapid Start royalty rate as a great deal they could not let get away. The early industery scuttlebutt was for a 7% rate, I believe it is now considered to be 4%(post-Rapid Start). We'll probably never get the cross-licensing terms Intermec is getting from their licensees, if indeed they feel they need cross-licensed IPR.
