MORE LAND!!!!!
RADAR ACQUISITIONS TENDERS MORE LAND. RAC on the CDNX
John Bergen, President of Radar Acquisitions announces:
Based on the results of the River Bend Project evaluation and studies thus far, Radar has tendered an application for the leasing of an additional coal lease from the State of Colorado in the same general project area, for some 5,120 acres to cover areas which regionally host lignite, in the Laramie formation. The lignite content of the Laramie was studied extensively for a feasibility study, by others, on adjoining property. The Laramie formation immediately overlies the Fox Hills formations which contains the heavy minerals and titanium sands at the River Bend Project.
Radar has also tendered an application for an additional 607 acres in Elbert County, from the State of Colorado. These additional areas will cover mineral rights along the main trend of the Fox Hills formation hosted, paleo-beach that contains the heavy minerals.
At the present time, Radar has a mining lease from the State of Colorado, which covers 5,822 acres of mineral rights and recently acquired the coal rights on the same lease. If accepted, the new lease applications will substantially increase Radar’s land position. Radar has also acquired leases from Freehold Mineral Rights holders on two parcel totaling 960 acres.
The River Bend Project has potential for both heavy minerals containing titanium and coal and evaluation work including engineering and metallurgical studies are continuing. The recent land acquisitions add to the potential scale of the Project.
Radar Acquisition Corporation of Calgary, (RAC-CDNX) is continuing with its systematic evaluation of the River Bend Project containing heavy minerals and significant titanium values. Based on ongoing metallurgical research to develop a commercial process for extracting titanium and other heavy minerals Radar has called for proposals from a number of engineering firms to evaluate the resource, metallurgical, and product studies completed to date and develop a comprehensive project report. A budget and plan for a complete feasibility study on the River Bend Project including the potential for lignite resources will then be developed. Visit Radar’s web site at www.radar.ab.ca
