FYI The latest issue of the New Yorker magazine (the May 29th issue) has a moderately interesting article on George Gilder. It has little to say on the accuracy of his vision but does give some insight into the evolution of his thinking. There is some emphasis on the religious underpinnings of his belief in capitalism and his view that capitalism is not based on individual greed. This, apparently, is the source of his disagreement with Ayn Rand who denounced him in her last public speech. Charlie
