This morning I downloaded the yahoo anti-add software - scanned my system and just deleted everything that came up - like a dummy. Immediately had trouble with the system, did a reboot and lost my entire hard drive partition. Get an error message no operating system with message that c drive does not contain a FAT or FAT32 partition. Looking at the C drive under dos shows just the basic commands with no folders - no space etc. Am I dead in the water? Do I have to reformat? Thanks in advance for any help. Am using Windows 98se on a Dell Inspiron Computer. Don't want to upgrade as need new computer anyway and have replaced virtually every piece of hardware on this Dell Laptop (except the 3 1/2 in drive). So.... would just like to get the data off - I tried just reloading using the Dell Product Recovery - but no luck as C drive has no space allocation
