As worldwide publicity mounts regarding the status of those the US now holds imprisoned at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, tensions will rise with this consciousness. Indeed, more and more the pressure pot boils.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we eventually discover, on the worldwide media stage, a hostage situation whereby massive numbers of Americans are held hostage against a demand for release of those Guantánamo Bay prisoners. And given the hopelessness of such a demand I think it probable that many will die from the standoff.
