I do not understand your comments reguarding Oracle and Sun....
How are you attributing Microsofts success to Oracle's?? or Sun's for that matter...
Sun's X-Window environment was popular with Unix users long before Microsoft "Invented"(Stole) the windows interface..., DOS's file system structure was "borrowed" from Unix, and the Relationship with Oracle, is totally beyond my grasp...
I have been working with Oracle for more than 10 years, have built my business around Oracle Database Administration, (And made a little money off of Oracle's stock, which unless I am mistaken, has outperformed Microsoft and Intel in the last 5 years), but I still don't see where Oracle has ever gained from the Microsoft monopoly.
Care to fill me in????
