Why would be happening now??? It wasn't happening under Saddam's rule during the last 9 years so why would it be happening now??? In fact the blood bath that is happening now is BECAUSE of the US invasion. Things would be much better in Iraq right now if sanctions were lifted and Saddam was still there in a SECULAR Iraq, rather than the huge mess we find ourselves in now. The fact is that we should have lifted the sanctions. Iraq had no WMDs. Saddam was not a threat to anyone. Shiites, Sunnies and Kurds were all living just fine together in a SECULAR environment. Where there some Shiite muslim fundamentalists that would have liked to see things move towards the Iran way? Sure there were. But they were under control unlike the way they are now. It was the sanctions that needed lifting to improve their way of life. Instead, lying POS BUSH opened up pandoras box by creating a new Iran in Iraq and again fanning the flames of muslim fundamentalists which were under control under Saddam. And now Because of Bush criminal actions, Iraq is becoming an Al-Qaida fertile ground to spread their ideology. These are all facts that you don't seem to acknowledge and are caused because of the lying criminal dumb@ss policies of the Nazi fascist Hitler Bush you are supporting.
