The characteristic of neocon views which are really neofascist is the tendancy to seek incremental advantage for a few well connected elements of the population instead of embracing the goal of E Pluribus Unum. In foriegn policy a nationalistic goal which again features incremental advantage to the few is presented even when that contradicts the long term interests of the country or even the neofascists themselves.
