As an alternative to seeking those firms that at the forefront of the FPD technology, I was wondering if it might be more profitable to analyse those companies that will be providing the equipment to all of them.

Is the manufacturing process similiar to that of semiconductor manufacturing?? Where does it diverged, and what companies may be providing that specialized technology??? I remember about a year ago, some folks were mentioning Plasma-Therm (PTIS) as a strong play in this area. Look forward to your responses.
