If the company has good management, you can still investigate supply chain software for the company.

Just in time can help companies save money, but public supply chain e-market can gain entrance to huge markets.

Try to get into GM's supply chain software and you are into a huge market for automobiles.

Smaller public e-markets such as E2open is worth looking into?

Supply chain software is very expensive, and management has to see the synergy to control very aspect of the business in assignment of time and cost. Part time labor, short periods to restock and money parked overnight in interest bearing accounts?
