I do believe that RICO does allow for private causes of action. I'm not a RICO expert but if I'm not mistaken I do believe a private party can bring a suit. This suit was brought as a shareholder (LORAL) derivative action. The suit alleges the company was damaged by the Schwartz - DNC- Clinton relationship and the transfer of proprietary knowledge to the Chinese. It will be interesting to watch. JLA
