Rove hoodwinked the media into supporting Bush's rush to war.
As for Democrats, only a few like Lieberman trusted Bush.

Also, remember the invasion was not a bad thing. It was HOW it was all done, with all the lies and the rushing in and the unilaterialism and piss poor planning. That was where the big mistakes were made. Of course, careful planning may have made an invasion unnecessary.

The good thing now is that the media knows they were hoodwinked and are angry about it and won't let it happen again. Same with Democrats and moderate Republicans.
