I talked to a mexican laborer that hated WPB, he originally went to a small town in missouri, he wanted that type of life for his 3 kids - not big city west palm. The problem was very few people in that community spoke spanish and at the time he did not speak english - so he said he was forced to go to an area with many spanish speakers and moved to west palm from missouri. He speaks english very well now, and his kids speak english, french, and spanish. I said you should get them to learn chinese - he said what for? I also asked him now that he speaks english why stay in the city he hates - he said now he has a big house and his kids have all thier friends there and his wife likes the big shopping - even though he knows the big city is not as good a place as missouri for safety and being away from lots of big city drugs and such - they have too many ties now to move away.

The immigrant influx to already established hispanic areas will just continue to grow for similar reasons eh? Flyover country will never really have any growth - it will just continue the trend no?
