You are correct Nostradameus, but it takes a top level trader to take advantage of what you are saying. Probably not one in 20 could pull that off.

I think for the average to good investor's/trader's (like the folks on this thread) position trading is the way to go. I do not trade beyond the position trading level and am scared enough just trying to teach any of my freinds:

1) to invest in mining stocks at all (and limit myself to very few friends fro such purposes)

2) to trade at all (but it is absolutley necessary to learn how).

3) teach them to use wts

4) I think I could trade like you mention, but I would never try to teach anyone to do it. And for the most part I stay away from raw trading.

In the climbing world , it is like climbing the face of a rock wall like El Capitan in Yosimate; and the challenge is a thing call "exposure"--being on a shear rock wall face, scares most people, so they do not perform well.

One of the jobs I had as an undergrad was teaching kids to climb in the high Sierra for the "youth science's institute in Alum Rock Park".

It was wonderful "work study" program to help poor kids work their way through college. I am sure the Republican's did away with it a long time ago-lol.
