Hi Dick,

How does one get approved to trade the option positions you descibe? I tried to do this with VVUS and my broker said I couldn't do it. This is the position I was attempting to establish:

I bought Oct 25 calls @ 3.5 in an attempt to leg-in ala Steve.
After the nice rise in the stock I attempted to sell the Oct 30's @ 2.5. This is when I was told I couldn't do this since I didn't own the stock just the option on the stock. FYI I use OLDE brokerage.
