Can anybody explain the relationship between tradeoptions.com and preftech.com ?

They say "securities offered through Preferred Capital Markets, Inc."

Is this another broker, clearing through Preferred, somebody marketing Preferred, or some other kind of relationship?

I just signed-up with tradeoptions.com on the recommendation of someone from the Datek thread, and after checking them out myself. (I was convinced when their trading desk answered the phone on the second ring.)

But I want to make sure now that I signed-up with the "right" firm!

My interest is primarly in trading options.
